1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the websites, dashboards, patient-facing pages, and messaging services (the "Services") provided by Bastaa AI LLC ("Bastaa", "we", "us"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. Dental practices ("Practices") that subscribe to Bastaa are additionally governed by their service agreement and, where protected health information is involved, a Business Associate Agreement.

2. The Services

Bastaa provides software for dental practices: an AI-powered phone receptionist, appointment support, patient intake forms, and operational text messaging sent on behalf of Practices. Patient-facing pages (such as secure intake-form links) are provided by Bastaa as a service provider acting for the patient's dental practice.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

  • Practice staff must keep their credentials confidential and use the Services only as permitted.
  • Practices are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide, for obtaining any consents required from their patients (including consent to call recording and to receive text messages, where applicable), and for using the Services in compliance with applicable law.
  • You may not misuse the Services, attempt to access data belonging to others, or use the Services to send unlawful, deceptive, or unsolicited marketing communications.

4. Text messaging terms (Bastaa Patient Messaging)

Bastaa sends operational, appointment-related text messages on behalf of dental practices — for example, a secure link to complete patient intake forms before a booked appointment. We do not send promotional or marketing messages.

  • Consent. You consent to receive these messages by providing your mobile phone number to your dental practice and requesting appointment-related communications (for example, when booking an appointment by phone). Consent is not a condition of receiving dental care.
  • Opt-out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. After you send STOP, we may send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive further messages unless you opt in again.
  • Help. If you experience issues or have questions, reply HELP to any message or contact support@bastaa.ai.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Message frequency varies — typically 1–3 messages per booked appointment.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to carrier network availability.

Mobile phone numbers and opt-in/consent data are used only to deliver these messages and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

5. Health information

Patient information collected through the Services (including intake-form responses and call records) is processed on behalf of the patient's dental practice. The Services do not provide medical or dental advice; always contact your dental practice or emergency services for urgent needs.

6. Intellectual property

The Services, including software, design, and content provided by Bastaa, are owned by Bastaa or its licensors. You receive only the limited right to use the Services as described in these Terms and any applicable service agreement.

7. Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep the Services available and reliable, but they are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bastaa will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to the use of the Services. Practices' remedies are further defined in their service agreements.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services for violations of these Terms or misuse of the platform. Practices may terminate as set out in their service agreements.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Bastaa AI LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision; continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
